"Bad Dead Bodies": An error message from Diablo II. Commonly seen when configuring hacked saves. Blizzard owns my soul. I find this fitting, because they don't have one. So, here we are...

I like this!

I couldn't hear the voices very well, but that's okay. Also, the distorted text that appears for a few frames near the start might need a little spell-checking, but I doubt many people click through all the flashes they watch frame-by-frame.

Keep 'em coming please. Are you the next David Firth...?

Author's Response:

I left that spelled incorrectly on pupose, I don't know, atmospheric purposes I guess. And I can only hope to the next Firth...

Ten - because like a tree, this game's perfect at being what it is.

No music, but that's fine, because I can put winamp on. Some ambience would have been good alternatively, but where can you get a two-minute loop of wind blowing leaves around?

Many reviewers have complained about the sounds, but these are authentic noises of trees growing in fast-forward, taken via time-lapse sound recordings, which couldn't have been easy. Heh heh m heh...

About thirteen pages ago, full walkthroughs were posted by two reviewers.

I agree with the reviewer a page ago: "It was just too scary. It made me feel sick and gave me a headache."

Beautiful. Eloquent.

"1Ø out of 1Ø ban signs!"

That was awesome, there were lasers and robots flyin around and then someone farted and it made the back of his pants all wet.

It could have been longer... But I still recieved a disconnected, alienated vibe. It was possibly as disturbing as reality, and so much funnier.

(I liked it, and I want to write a letter saying that I wasn't offended.)

I destroyed my right (mouse) hand, right here on Newgrounds (well, some of it here).

I found this game while looking to un-dumb my left hand. I could not have asked for anything more suitable. :D

I had to switch back to using my right for the demon-spirit-thingy, but it was sweet revenge after ten lefthanded failures. It was well-worth the wrist re-wrapping.

Thanks, very much. I almost feel like myself again, now that I have a mildly useful amount of dexterity available in one hand (which I will obliterate with more video games). :P

So not to rub anything into anyone's face, but -- those of you having difficulty playing Aeturnus on Windows can find your Mouse controls in the Control Panel. Turn it up.

And (maybe only applicable to us godforsaken XP/Pro users) UNCHECK the box that declares itself to "Enhance pointer precision." That sadistic "feature" owes me a new whole @$%%# forearm!

What the world's going on with the reviews? Half say the graphics are bad, half say good. Half say it's too hard, half say it's too easy.

Folks, do everyone a favor please, and try some other games. Yes, this one needs the glitch fixed, just like every other game. It's too bad, but at least you can get around it by not DOING that.

I did want to change the sound volume and save the game, but eh... Or see my score. Or know the difficulty multiplier for the endgame scores... And repair defenses.

So for those of you who also got stuck on early waves; build a wall behind the money trucks, then build a (whatever) to shoot at it while it's breaking the wall. Use the money to buy an eagle thing, and you should be okay from there.

It's small variations like the eagle towers, cash wagons, sacred energy tower range/placement strategies, limits on the lightning tower chains, active building placement, air/ground enemies with immunities and other special abilities, traps, two resources, randomized enemies, simple saveable custom maps, terrain obstacles, and other stuff that separate this game from the other path/placement wave defense games.

I should still admit that I was yawning near the end of Easy mode.

High scores board? Please?

876 seconds! (Hint: the goal is not to push asteroids off the screen -- the goal is, "don't die." :)

Bug: After playing (?) amount of games through the Replay button, the largest "normal" asteroids (not the "boss" ones that shake the screen) will have increased mass each time a new game is started, and quickly reach infinite mass and become immune to your fire. Another Newgrounder also reported this bug a page or two ago. (Debug: my flash is current, my browser is Opera.)

Reload -Red- after each game until (if) the bug is exterminated. The tutorial's pretty cool anyway. ;P

Case -- your profile name is Armor Games? No offense, as "Armor Games" is branded on a good many of my favorites -- but how might I save the weeding-out time, and view entries by *you* alone? Are they all -hyphenated-? I'll check your deviantart site...

I want your music playlist.

... But I enjoyed all four-hundred and twenty-seven brain-eating blobs. It was like meditating, except it made my mouse hurt.

Imaginary friend struck up a conversation and sat in my lap and that was the end of it. Being awake, I mean. Maybe they ate my brain?

I'll be back for more though. Perfect score!

Did any of them read the words?
They were FUNNY.

Best premise since "Dad 'n Me."
One let-down -- I was hoping to actually DESTROY the WHOLE PLANET.
But hey there's plenty of wiggle room in the "plot" for a sequel, right...? :D
9/10, because this game didn't waste tons of my time with a bunch of junk. You did good to put the Funny before the Boring and the Impossible.

I ain't played it yet (thanks to my lousy soundcard, I'll have to restart first).

Doesn't matter though, it has the guy from Dad 'n Me on it. Ten stars, five fives, whatever.

Point: I love these. I just played Dad 'n Me 'til I finally destroyed them ALL, and my hands hurt... but in a good way. -- So, can we please see these in a "collection?" And more of them, if these should happen to unfortunately be the only two currently in existence?

The style is perfect. Series-Collection-Thing or not, I will continue my search for any other submissions featuring the skull-masked purple violencers.
